1. Who is responsible for your data
CommentOnMyPost is operated by Rishabh Bhardwaj, trading as CommentOnMyPost ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us via commentonmypost.com.
2. What we collect and why
- Account data: your email address and sign-in credentials. Purpose: creating and securing your account. Legal basis: contract performance.
- Usage data: your credit balance, daily free allowance usage, and purchase history. Purpose: providing the Service, enforcing plan limits, and preventing fraud. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
- Content you submit: post text and generation options. Purpose: producing the comments you request. We do not retain submitted posts or generated comments beyond what is needed to serve your request. Legal basis: contract performance.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser identifiers, and basic telemetry. For guest use, a hashed, non-reversible identifier derived from your connection is used to apply the daily free allowance. Purpose: security, fraud prevention, and product improvement. We do not currently take payments, so we do not collect any payment card or billing details. If paid plans are introduced, payment details would be collected directly by our payment provider and never stored by us.
3. Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors that host, operate, and secure the Service (hosting, database, and AI infrastructure providers).
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- Authorities where required by law.
4. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and for the period required by tax and accounting law.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@commentonmypost.com and we will respond within one month.
6. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed identifiers for guest usage tracking.
7. Cookies
