Terms and Conditions

These terms are between you and the operator of CommentOnMyPost ("we", "us", the "Service"). By accessing or using CommentOnMyPost, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation, and if you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

CommentOnMyPost generates draft social media comments, primarily for LinkedIn and X, based on post text and options you provide. It is a drafting aid for you and your team. It does not publish, schedule or send anything, and it does not connect to any social media account. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan or credit balance you hold.

You must not misuse the Service. That includes:

• unlawful use, fraud, or spam;
• infringing anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
• interfering with the Service's security, including malware, probing, or scraping;
• reverse engineering, reselling, or redistributing the Service;
• circumventing credit limits or other technical limits.

The Service uses generative AI. You are responsible for the post text and instructions you submit, for having the rights to that input, and for reviewing every generated comment before you use it. Generated comments may be inaccurate, may not reflect real people's opinions, and are not suitable as professional advice in regulated fields without human review.

You must not use generated comments to:

• create illegal content, deepfakes, hate speech, harassment, or malware;
• run automated mass posting, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, or fake engagement campaigns;
• impersonate real people or mislead audiences.

You own the comments generated from your input, subject to these terms and applicable law. If a rights holder believes generated content infringes their rights, they can contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or restrict the content. Repeated infringement may lead to suspension. We may moderate content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that break these rules.

The Service writes draft comments. It does not post anything, and it has no connection to your LinkedIn, X or other social media accounts. Whether a generated comment is ever published, where, and by whom, is entirely your decision and your responsibility.

Review and edit every comment before you post it. Check that it is accurate, that you agree with it, and that it is appropriate for the account posting it. Do not post a comment you would not be willing to stand behind as your own words.

Each platform sets its own rules, and those rules bind you, not us. LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies require authentic responses and prohibit doing things to artificially increase engagement with your own content. X's Authenticity policy prohibits inauthentic accounts, engagement spam and coordinated inauthentic activity. Posting generated comments from fake or borrowed accounts, running engagement pods, or publishing them in bulk to inflate engagement may breach those rules. It is your responsibility to read the current rules of any platform you post to and to comply with them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility or liability for what happens after a generated comment leaves the Service. That includes any restriction, suspension, shadow ban, removal, reduced reach or termination of your account or your content by any platform, and any other loss, damage, reputational harm or dispute arising out of your use of generated comments. You use them at your own risk.

Keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You grant us a limited licence to host and process the text you submit solely to operate the Service. We do not retain your submitted posts or generated comments beyond what is needed to serve your request.

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, design, documentation, and CommentOnMyPost branding. These terms grant you no rights to them except the limited right to use the Service.

The Service is currently free: 3 generations per day at up to 20 comments each without an account, and 5 generations per day at up to 100 comments each with a free account. We may introduce paid plans or higher limits in the future; if we do, the payment, billing, and refund terms will be published on this site before any charge is taken.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, your right to use the Service stops immediately.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the courts of Singapore. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
